The Dark Years

The dark years of Trample were when we first started and all the band consisted of was a guitarist, drummer and a singer. The gutairst was Matt Bragg, the drummer was Brenden Murray and the singer was...............wait for it, wait for it..................JAMES LAKE. Well they were the years of the songs "Watch Out & M.F.S's faverite song Who's Ganna Stop Me lol. They were just waiting for James to buy his Bass.

Mid Life Crisis

Finally James got his base and Trample really started to produce some alright songs like Feel Like Me & Shoot. So Trample was left with Matt Bragg on guitar & VOCALS, Brenden on Drums and James On base. They recorded a seedy cover c.d that was recorded in Dens garage which had a song called Pikes song which was sung to the tune of Adams Song. Pikes Song did not take long to get around school and before they new it strangers were singing that song.
A little later on, while on the train from Dapto to Big Day Out at Home bush bay Chibbs bought up the Ider of getting a singer so he could go more tricky on the guitar because singing and playing at the same time limits you to simple riffs. Den liked the Ider of a singer and as soon as they got home they went looking for a singer.

4-piece Day

After long aditions for a singer they found Troy Cotton who impressed all the members of the band so after talking through the pros and cons of Troy they got him as a singer. Getting a singer was great for the band because it lead to songs such as Time Bomb & Singing Fish. Singing fish was later put in the youth week rock it compition. so Trample look to be going places now even though there is talk of getting a turn-tablest & and a purcussionist.

Not Happy

On the 24/04/01 Troy Cotton left the band with the excuse
"I don't feel like singing any more". Anyway Trample were
not happy seeing they had two gigs coming up in less then 2 months. They managed to talk him into playing one last gig at wollongong youth center but they would have to go 3-peice for there gerringong town hall gig. They also had to cancell recording their e.p that was to be recorded in july. So auditions for a new singer started again. But on a happy note Troy will return in a few months as a turntableist for trample.

GETTING A FOLLOWING

So Troy had left the band and left Trample in the lurch. Causing them to cancel the recording of there E.P in June.
But this couldn't of happend at a better time because the day after Tramples Wollongong Youth Center Gig, They were approached by a gutairst Named Justin Richards who told them that they had gone off the night before. Chibbs & Den were feeling lucky hat day so they asked him to be a 2nd guitarst for the band. Not really knowing what to expect Justin came to a band practise which went so well that he was put in the band stright away. This has given Trample a new original sound which people could here and they loved it a Gerringong Town Hall. Trample have yet to confirm but they now might be touring with the Famous MFS around Sydney in Januray 2002!

The Anus!

On the 8th of August Trample got Jane the new singer of Trample. She majorly impressed the guys from the band with her vocal talents that she was offered a position stright away. She was origanily only going to sing 2 songs with them but after hearing how good she was she was put in full time.

Anus Has Left The Building!

After the wollongong youth center gig on the 30th
which was Jane first gig the guys of Trample dicided not to go with the female singer as it wasn't really fitting in well and it stoped them from being able to do there heavy rap songs which are everybodys favourites. They did not say that Jane wasn,t a good singer (which she is) they just said that it didn't fit to that kind of music.
She will stay on as a guest vocalist for songs such as "carry on".
